I have been practicing meditation for twenty-five years and teaching it for more than ten. I started with a Zen meditation practice and was a member of Still Mind Zendo in New York City. I then expanded my practice to include other teachings and techniques. I trained in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Center for Mindfulness. and am a graduate of the Interdependence Project's 2012 Yearlong Immersion and Meditation Instructor Training program. and. I am also trained in the Mindful Schools program to teach children K-12. I teach meditation to groups and individuals in New York, New Jersey and Europe.

I have used my skills to support and coach individuals through the major life events of childbirth and bereavement, and I also officiate marriages. I work part-time for Amnesty International as part of the International Advocacy Team at their United Nations Office in NYC, and am a member of their Psychological First Aid network, which provides psychological support to staff around the world.
